Dr Lachlan Fieldhouse

Dr Fieldhouse holds a Bachelor of Medicine from Newcastle University, a Fellowship with the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners, and a Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. He has worked in prison medicine, aged care settings, high school medicine, ran a small rural NZ practice, and for a time in Medical Administration for the Department of Immigration Detention Centre on Christmas Island during 2013.

Dr Fieldhouse has been a specialist registered General Practitioner since 2012. He works part-time as National Clinical Lead – Transition, Innovation, Quality, Compliance for the RACGP as a passionate Medical Educator as well as a being GP Supervisor, and has been the Director of Training for General Practice Training Tasmania. His special interests include child health, Mental Health (Autism, Mood disorders, Addiction Medicine), male health issues, and working with people to better understand complex unexplained medical symptoms across the lifespan and across all communities.

If you require medical assistance outside of our opening hours, please call Rosny After Hours Doctors at 27 Bligh Street, Rosny Park on (03) 6244 1058. This is a walk-in service only and is available weekdays between 6:00pm and 9:00pm, and weekends and public holidays between 1:00pm and 9:00pm.
